A cold front and its associated light rain and higher elevation snow (above 4,500 feet) will push through the Rogue Valley and over the Cascades throughout the day on Tuesday. Some showers will reach into Northern California.
A larger storm will hit Wednesday night, Thursday and much of Friday…lowering snow levels to 2,000 feet Thursday night. Travel over the hills and mountain passes will be impacted by the storm, but it will become more showery on Friday. High pressure and some fog is expected for the weekend.
