2012 Water Abundance Helps 2013 Deficit

Rogue River, Ore. — Southern Oregon irrigation officials say last year’s wet spring and wet start to winter have helped offset what was a very dry first three months of 2013.

Officials at Lost Creek Lake say as of April 8th the lake had about 4.5′ to go until it’s full and Applegate Lake had about 10′ to go until it’s at capacity.

Officials say this is right about average for this time of year but things can change one way or the other in a matter of weeks.
