GRANTS PASS, Ore. — A Grants Pass man has been sentenced to life in prison after pleading guilty to a shooting that left a man dead.
In February of 2012, police say Lawrence King murdered Daniel Baker outside a Bi-More Shell gas station in Grants Pass.
Police say King, the shooter, targeted the victim because he’d witnessed a crime and was scheduled of testify in a check fraud case involving hundreds of victims.
Lawrence King may be eligible for parole after 30 years.
