100 Days Since Flight 370 Went Missing

370(CNN) – Today marks 100 days since Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 disappeared, and there is still no trace of the Boeing triple 7 or the 239 people on board.

Angus Houston, who heads the Australian search efforts for the plane, spoke last week about the search for the missing plane.
“It is going to take a lot of time and nothing happens fast under water. We are going to be searching at very slow speeds. And that is just the reality of the environment we are working in. I have to say with modern technology I think the chances of finding it much higher than they would have been 20-30 years ago.”

Grieving family members gathered in Beijing to mark the 100 days since the plane’s disappearance with prayers. Flight 370 took off from Kuala Lumpur in March, but never reach its destination of Beijing.
